The Hannibal Rotary Club named Jacob Begley, Student of the Month for December, 2018. The recognition luncheon meeting included the presentation of a framed certificate and denotes the top monthly HCTC student chosen by the faculty at the Hannibal Career and Technical Center.

The Rotary Club and the Hannibal Career and Technical Center believe this award reinforces the importance of training programs in our schools. Learning a skilled trade or craft enables many capable students to enter the work force and establish successful careers. This area of study and instruction aids the college bound student to succeed in various avenues of study.

Jacob completed CNC 1 last year and is enrolled in Precision Machining. He participates in SkillsUSA activities and will be competing in Advance Manufacturing this year. He also was a participant in the Champ Clark Design Challenge. Great student and always ready to help others.
