2.    Candidates for membership must have a previous semester GPA of 3.0 or higher and a cumulative GPA of 3.0 in their vocational class(es).

3.    Candidates should exhibit excellent attendance.  Excellent attendance shall be no more than 6 absences during the previous semester.  Excessive tardies will be taken into consideration, no more than 6 tardies a year.

4.    Candidates should exhibit the qualities of service, leadership, honesty, career development, and skilled workmanship.

5.    The above standards must be maintained to continue membership.

6.    The student must be enrolled in a vocational class each semester in order to remain a member and to receive honor cords for graduation.

If a student’s GPA falls below a 3.0 and/or if a student misses more than 6 days in the previous semester, he/she will be notified in writing that he/she no longer qualifies as a member.  If there are extenuating circumstances, the student may appeal in writing to one of the sponsors within a specified length of time.

SENIORS and ADULTS--the advisers and committee will check Spring semester attendance before awarding honor cords for graduation.
