II. OBJECTIVES :

Windows comes in several flavors. Some good, some not so good. Here we take a quick look at the old Windows and why it is important to upgrade. However, upgrading costs money and many individuals and businesses do not want or cant spend the money it takes.

A good technician gets very familiar with all flavors of Windows, here in our own school and right on this same floor there are operational computers that just run Windows 98 and I have seen some that still run the old Windows 95. At best the technician should know how to upgrade these to a newer (not necessarily the newest) operating system.
