Yeah like you didn’t know it was coming. This is the big test and yes it will take all week. Remember the objective here is for you to show me what you can do. I don’t need to demonstrate my knowledge of this subject, you do.

VI. CONTENT :


Semester Test - The test for this semester is a hands-on project consisting of the complete build of a computer from scratch. Other than displaying the results of turning the computers on and demonstrating that a preloaded software package works, there is no software component of this exam. It is intended to strictly test the ability of the student to demonstrate enough full knowledge of building a computer thru to completion. A form detailing the portions of the build that must be completed is attached. This form details any missing or incomplete items during the build process. There also is a highly subjective component as to how well the student does, do they lollygag, talk, cutup. This is harder to quantify but it is considered.
