The objective of this week’s lesson is for the students to become familiar with the history of computers. They will develop (hopefully) an appreciation for all the work that has gone before and why some things are done the way they are done.

V. INTRODUCTION:


Eniac, IBM, Apple, Mainframes, Dec machines and other computer history and technological advances. Display the internal components of a computer such as rear panels, peripheral devices initial exposure to the internal components, including the CPU, motherboard, power supplies, expansion busses, and memory.

Relate my job history through the development of the computer technology.
