V. INTRODUCTION:

Web Servers are fun. And they can make you rich.

VI. CONTENT :

Windows offers four Major kinds of Servers and mulitple minor special items. One of the major kinds that is a subset of the Enterprise edition of Windows server, is the Web services server package. This package contains all the specific applications to configure, manage, and maintain a web based service package.

These services include web page hosting, chat rooms, blogs (NNTP), and streaming audio and video. These services should be combined with another server running the standard DHCP and DNS functions. A third server running the music streaming, or gaming (if required) would reduce the load on any one given machine but that is a matter for other discussions (during the planning stages perhaps).

There will be a write up in the future out of the Chapter 13 section of this text but for now, we will just have to rely on reading the book in class.
