II. OBJECTIVES :


Computers don’t speak English or Chinese. They only speak 1’s and 0’s. To translate for us stupid humans, they use a Domain Naming System hence: DNS.

V. INTRODUCTION:


This weeks lesson concerns the installation and configuration of the Domain Name Services in Windows 2003.



VI. CONTENT:


DNS is one of the services provided by Windows 2003 Server. Domain Name Service (DNS) translates human usable names into numbers that the computer can relate to.

This again is much of a self paced course utilizing the activities in the text book. At a later time I think I will make lab sheets to be completed by the students indicating completion of these lab tasks.
