Introduction to ethernet, networking devices, cable types.



VI. CONTENT :


This week introduces the methods used to send the signals that contain data across from here to there. This is called "Signalling Methods". It encompances ethernet standards, multiplexing, and different protocols such as FDDI, CDDI, etc.

Packets and bits

Introduction to the Mathmatics used in networking (Boolean).
