Linux is an alternative to the Windows Operating System. It is cool and best of all it is free. We begin a three week longer look into Linux and its various distributions.

Windows is so bad as an Operating System, there has been a major demand for an alternative OS that is user friendly. Linux is that alternative.



VI. CONTENT :


Windows is so bad as an Operating System, there has been a major demand for an alternative OS that is user friendly. While there are many OS such as MAC or SUN or Unix, they all require special and many times proprietary computers to run their systems. Linux is that alternative for many users.

This week is the introduction to Linux.
