II. OBJECTIVES:


This lesson will probably stop being given. ISDN technology is like nowhere man so I think it may go away. If it does NOT go away, I will lecture and demonstrate only once and probably not include too much of the subject matter on any test. Maybe a few key points but nothing major.

We have nothing but one ISDN modem (that does not work) and no way to connect to an ISDN carrier. Besides, it is a very outmoded and outdated technology.

But PPP is used everyday by everyone of you students. We vill study PPP in depth.

Welcome to the age of yesteryear. ISDN is an old technology that has been pretty much completely replaced by DSL technology.
