Student interacting with children at St. John's Lutheran In order for parents to provide adequate care for their children, the need for trained persons to operate child care facilities is growing. The Child Care program is organized specifically for students who want to become child care providers. The program will offer the student a basic understanding of the principles of child development, safety procedures, communication skills, nutritional skills, creative activities for the children, organization and management of child care centers.
