8626 II 10-11-12 1 Credit 06-07 (Alternate year class)

 

This course involves the propagation, fertilization and other management skills used in the production of grain crops, legumes, vegetable crops, horticulture plants, lawns, and orchards. The identification of seeds and plants and the control of weeds will be studied. Soils and resource conservation are also included in the course. There will be a continuation of shop work, leadership development through FFA, career exploration, record keeping and a SAE program. This course meets one period per day.

 

Prerequisite: Any one of the following: Agricultural Science I, Natural Resource Management or Greenhouse Operation and Management.
