Hannibal Career and Technical Center Mr. Junior Mena, Director of Adult Education Administrative Assistant for Adult Education, Mrs. Helen Gilliland The Adult and Community Education Program at the Hannibal Career and Technical Center encompasses several areas of endeavor. One of the components is the Adult Education and Literacy (GED) program. This is a program that is free to all eligible students striving to improve their basic academic skills. The GED program can provide many services ranging from enhancing job possibilities to challenging the GED Test. The GED program provides both daytime and evening opportunities. GED CLASS LOCATIONS . Another component is providing short term, low cost community education classes. These offerings are need driven. We attempt to listen to the wants and needs of the Community and respond accordingly. Offerings might range from Computer Classes, welding, and woodworking to scrap booking and fly-fishing. The third component is Continuing Education. Opportunities are provided for students seeking Advanced Degrees in Education. Lindenwood University and William Woods University offer Graduate level classes that meet at the Hannibal and Technical Center, please contact Mrs. Gilliland for more information on the class listings. |
